The I&E Measurement Technician III will collaborate with other field employees and engineering personnel on the operation and maintenance of automation equipment. This position is responsible for performing advanced-level activities that support the installation, maintenance, and repair of measurement equipment including meters, remote terminal units (RTUs), electrical instrumentation and telemetry equipment across PennEnergy. The Measurement Technician III will install, test, and repair instrumentation systems utilized by production equipment to ensure adherence to established performance levels and product quality. The Measurement Technician III is expected to work independently, address and resolve complicated situations and mentor and train other Measurement Technicians within the group. This position will perform work on well pads, pipelines, dehydration, compression, and metering stations to support the optimization of processes.

BENEFICIAL QUALIFICATIONS
This position is primarily based in the field (e.g., at drilling and well sites) with occasional visits to PennEnergy Resources corporate and field offices. Subject to extended periods of sitting and/or standing, vision to monitor, and typing. There is potential for work in areas containing outdoor weather conditions, including wet, humid, cold, heat, loud noise, vibrations, gases, fumes, mists, dust, and odors while working onsite. Must provide own transportation and be licensed and insured to operate a motor vehicle.
REGULAR SCHEDULE
This is a full-time hourly position with a regular schedule of Monday through Friday work hours. Extended hours may be needed on occasion to complete company objectives. This position will be required to be accessible for call outs beyond standard working hours. Travel up to 90% is required to travel to work sites beyond the corporate office.

DEGREE PROGRAMS Associates in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related vocational training,

WORK EXPERIENCE 5+ years’ experience with oil & gas operations and/or Instrumentation, Electrical, and controls Equipment.

- Performs installation, maintenance, and repair of process control instrumentation, such as transmitters, controllers, flow meters, RTUs, and control valves.
- Maximize production and facility efficiency. Minimize downtime by working with the production operators to keep I&E equipment operational.
- Assist in the I&E checkout and commissioning on new facility builds and facility modifications. Including I/O checks and alarm testing.
- Perform routine calibrations on electrical instrumentation (Flow, Pressure, Level, temperature).
- Independently review daily reports, monitor system alarms, and monitor real time data to identify potential instrumentation issues and Implement corrective measures as needed.
- Installs, examines, replaces or repairs electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components.
- Mentor and train less experienced technicians. Provide subject matter expertise to field personnel, contractors, and consultants.
- Maintain an inventory of parts for replacement and work with procurement to build inventory of other critical I&E and measurement equipment.
- Conduct routine checks and troubleshoot well site automation and communication equipment.
- Maintain detailed reports on instrumentation tests, repairs, and maintenance.
- Maintain required meter calibration and sampling schedules that adhere to company and industry standards.
- Perform plate changes and general maintenance of primary devices.
- Implement and oversee safety policies and procedures.
- Solid mechanical skills and general knowledge of basic electricity/electronics
- Experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting I&E instrumentation, communication devices, RTUs, HMIs, and other automation equipment
- Knowledge of Process Control Equipment.
- Instrumentation Configuration and Calibration Knowledge.
- Problem Solving
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and applicable industry programs
BENEFICIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- An understanding of fluid dynamics: pressure and flow
- Ability to work with Remote Terminal Units (RTUs): Emerson and ABB products
- Human Machine Interface (HMI) Configuration and Troubleshooting
- General knowledge of upstream and midstream natural gas operations
